Happy Dolphins is an accredited Swim South Africa swim school that has been building water confidence since 2005. Ingrid van Eyk, our founder, is a qualified foundation phase teacher with over 16 years of experience in school swimming. Our teachers inspire, never rush.

Fully Qualified Staff

All teachers hold SSA certificates plus annual First Aid Level 1 and CPR refresher training. Registered with CTMA.

Our Classes

Swimming for every age & stage

From your baby's first splash to competitive squad training, we have a class to match every swimmer's needs and ambitions.

👶 6 months – 2½ years

Baby Swimming

Small groups of up to 6 babies assisted by a parent or caregiver in the water. Water safety and early swimming skills are taught through songs, games and loads of fun. Toddlers from 2 years are gradually weaned from parent support.

🌊 3 years and up

Learn to Swim

All four strokes are introduced using correct technique and terminology. Water safety is constantly reinforced and each child progresses at their own pace, building real independence and confidence in the water.

🏅 From 6 years

Mini Squads & Squad 1

For children ready to enter school competitive swimming. Strokes, starts, turns and finishes are refined. Targeted drills build stamina, strength and speed for swimmers who want to go further.

🧑 All adult ages

Adult Swimming

Designed for adults who have never learned to swim or who are fearful of water. Stroke correction is also offered in a calm, non-judgmental environment. It's never too late to become a swimmer.

Safety First

Your child's safety is everything

We take every possible precaution so parents can watch with total peace of mind.

Annual First Aid & CPR

All teachers attend First Aid Level 1 and CPR refresher courses every year, so they are always ready.

Our pool is kept warm and fully enclosed — no outdoor hazards, no weather worries, no distractions.
